Таковы новейшие результаты независимой фирмы исследования медицинского рынка Kalorama Information (Нью-Йорк, штат Нью-Йорк, США).

В 2018 году традиционные сегменты лабораторных тестов - химия/иммуноанализ, гематология и коагуляция - составили 43% от долларовой стоимости рынка IVD и около 65% тестов на рынке. Тем не менее растущее значение молекулярных тестов на инфекционные заболевания и онкологию приведет к тому, что доля рынка этих основных тестов снизится до 43% в 2023 году.

Возрастающее демографическое старение населения, увеличение количества процедур и усовершенствования в тестах будут продолжать стимулировать рост глобального рынка IVD-диагностики, хотя ряд факторов способен ограничивать рост рынка. В течение следующих пяти лет замедление принятия решений о покупке оборудования, влияние законодательства PAMA в США, рынки холодных контактов в Европе, сокращение возмещения расходов на глюкозу и конкуренция, обусловленная низкой себестоимостью (на существенной доле рынка IVD), миграция ранее низкообъемных тестов на интегрированные анализаторы (которые снижают стоимость за тест), а также консолидация клиентов лабораторий будет препятствовать росту рынка.

"Большие объемы тестирования, большее количество пациентов, новые типы тестов и платформ сбалансированы осторожными принятиями решений от правительства и плательщиков, — заявил Брюс Карлсон (Bruce Carlson), издатель Kalorama Information. — 15 лет назад, когда наше издание было основано, отмечался рост до 7%. Будет ли это возможным в будущем? Возможно. Понаблюдайте за возможностями секвенирования и персонализированного тестирования лекарств, они показывают, что такие цифры могут вернуться. "И клиенты в лабораториях, и производители в отрасли IVD объединяются для повышения эффективности, — добавил Карлсон. — Клиенты сосредоточены на том, где наблюдается рост, и сейчас он отмечается в тестировании на рак и на инфекционные заболевания".
