Posted on 12 Nov 2024

Awareness Technology, Inc. (Palm City, FL, USA) is showcasing its advanced analyzers at MEDICA 2024 where these instruments are available for hands-on demonstrations during the show.

At this year’s MEDICA, Awareness is presenting the ChemWell 2 two-plate ELISA/chemiluminescent analyzer for running a variety of applications. The instrument’s ability to mix a wide range of ELISA/CLIA assays on two microwell plates provides a level of flexibility that makes the ChemWell 2 an excellent choice for laboratories. Awareness is also showcasing the ChemWell RPR Automated RRP Analyzer for serum syphilis screening that utilizes a sophisticated camera system designed to capture high-resolution images of the reactions. It features specialized software that analyzes the image, providing an accurate and objective reading of the reaction as reactive or non-reactive.

Also being presented at the show are the enhanced Stat Fax 4500 biochemistry analyzer and Stat Fax 4700 ELISA strip reader which have recently received upgraded screens, faster processors, and new user interfaces. At the heart of the Stat Fax 4500 and 4700 is a new and faster micro-processor and significantly increased memory capacity. All the calculation modes, reporting functions, and the ability to customize test parameters remain the same but function faster. A new feature of the instruments’ improved memory capacity is their ability to store over 140 programmed tests. Their new interface features a high-resolution backlit display with a capacitive touch screen that has the responsiveness of a smartphone with no need for a stylus to make accurate selections. Screens are updated almost instantly with a new menu system driven by icons designed to intuitively identify their functions.

At MEDICA 2024, Awareness is also introducing its latest instrument, the Chemi+ biochemistry analyzer designed to optimize laboratory efficiency. This compact device boasts a small footprint, making it an ideal choice for labs with limited space. The Chemi+ is complemented by user-friendly software, ensuring seamless operation for lab technicians of all skill levels. A standout feature of the Chemi+ is its open system capability, which allows for wireless management of up to four Chemi+ analyzers through a single tablet or PC. This integration not only simplifies workflow but also enhances productivity by enabling simultaneous multi-device operation. The Chemi+ biochemistry analyzer is poised to set a new standard in laboratory technology, combining efficiency, ease of use, and advanced connectivity in a compact design.
