血液生物标志物可预测心血管疾病

血液中发现的一种酶绝大部分会与低密度脂蛋白(LDL)结合,可作为冠状动脉血管疾病的风险因素给出指示。脂蛋白相关的磷脂A2 (Lp-PLA2)的活性上升经常会导致动脉硬化,脂蛋白相关的磷脂A2也被称为血小板活化因子乙酰水解酶(PAF-AH)。它被认为是脂肪斑恶化和破裂的关键,脂肪斑会堵塞冠状动脉血管,导致心脏病发作。

LpPLA2的活性和质量在进行动脉X光摄影(血管造影)的高危病人身上进行衡量,动脉X光摄影是一种医疗成像技术,可以看见血管和心室的内腔。有336名白种人和224名非裔美国人参与了研究。

研究结果显示,LpPLA2活性在患有冠状动脉心脏疾病的白人和非裔美国人身上都增加了,不过只有后者的LpPLA2指数可以独立预测冠状动脉血管疾病。

"动脉X光摄影是高度有效的,不过作为普通筛查被认为是太危险,而且费用高”,加州大学戴维斯分校(UC Davis, Sacramento, CA, USA; www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu)首席科学家Lars Berglund医生说。所以,可以可靠预测心脏病发作的简单血检方法会比创伤性过程更易被采用。LpPLA2检测已经被广泛采用,关于这种酶以及针对更大范围人群的其他炎症成份的进一步研究将使得科学家们能够诊断并预测出不同种族和不同民族的心脏病。

研究公布在2010年《临床内分泌学和代谢杂志》上。研究中所提供的信息将使医生们能够针对病人特殊需要进行治疗。
