LGC Clinical Diagnostics Presents Full Portfolio of Quality Measurement Tools

By LabMedica International staff writers
Posted on 25 Jul 2023

LGC Clinical Diagnostics (Middlesex, UK) is showcasing its full portfolio of quality measurement tools at AACC 2023 with complete access to its sub-brands including Maine Standards, SeraCare, Technopath Clinical Diagnostics, and The Native Antigen Company. LGC’s combined capabilities make it better positioned to support the needs of the clinical diagnostics industry, from early feasibility and research to commercial & laboratory development test (LDT) assay development, installation, validation, and ongoing performance monitoring support.

At AACC 2023, LGC is presenting VALIDATE linearity & calibration verification materials, ACCURUN reference materials & QC products, the Multichem range of independent quality controls, and the VirtuE range of antigens & antibodies. The VALIDATE ready-to-use kits from Maine Standards are designed to assist in the documentation of linearity, calibration verification, and verification of linear range required by many inspection agencies. VALIDATE also provides assistance when troubleshooting instrument systems, reagent problems, and calibration anomalies. LGC is also highlighting SeraCare’s ACCURUN controls and reference materials: which are designed to be weakly reactive to help monitor serology assays for additional confidence in laboratory test results. In addition, the Seraseq Next-generation sequencing (NGS) reference materials help scientists and clinicians build, validate, implement, and standardize better clinical genomics assays.

Visitors to the LGC booth at AACC 2023 can also learn more about the Multichem class-leading third-party test-consolidated QC product range from Technopath Clinical Diagnostics. The extensive list of analytes included in the Multichem product range guarantees quality, choice, and flexibility. Multichem ID controls can be used as part of the QConnect integrated and simplified QC solution. Also being highlighted by LGC at the show is the VirtuE range of antigens & antibodies from The Native Antigen Company that are produced using the company’s VirtuE mammalian expression system. These antigens are suitable for use in vaccine R&D, as components for serological-based diagnostic assays, and for fundamental research into infectious diseases.
