Seegene Showcases Comprehensive Molecular Diagnostics Portfolio at WHX Labs Dubai

By LabMedica International staff writers
Posted on 11 Feb 2026

Seegene (Seoul, South Korea) is exhibiting as an official partner at WHX Labs Dubai 2026, where the company is presenting its latest molecular diagnostic (MDx) innovations alongside an extensive global portfolio. More...

Seegene’s offering includes more than 250 molecular diagnostic reagent kits, supported by a broad range of instruments and consumables used in laboratories worldwide.

At its booth, Seegene is featuring the Allplex Entero-DR Assay, which simultaneously detects and identifies eight Gram-positive and Gram-negative antibiotic resistance genes in a single tube in approximately 1.3 hours. Built on Seegene’s proprietary MuDT technology, the assay delivers multiple cycle threshold (Ct) values for each target within a single channel, eliminating the need for melting curve analysis. The panel covers key resistance markers, including carbapenemase-producing Enterobacterales (CPE) genes, vancomycin-resistance genes (VRE), and extended-spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL) genes.

Also being highlighted are the Allplex Respiratory Panel Assays, comprehensive multiplex assays designed for the detection and identification of 26 respiratory tract pathogens using one-step real-time PCR. The assays report individual Ct values for each analyte in a single channel on standard real-time PCR instruments within approximately 2.5 hours after nucleic acid extraction, enabling laboratories to obtain a high volume of actionable results from a single sample.

Seegene is also highlighting its comprehensive Allplex STI Assays portfolio, which enables rapid screening of major sexually transmitted infections while identifying bacterial, fungal, viral, and parasitic pathogens, as well as key antimicrobial resistance markers. In addition, Seegene is showcasing the Allplex HPV28 Assay, a multiplex real-time PCR test that enables simultaneous detection and genotyping of 28 human papillomavirus (HPV) types, including high-risk, probable high-risk, and low-risk genotypes, in a single reaction.

Mathematical Biomarkers Use Routine Blood Tests to Guide Adaptive Prostate Cancer Therapy

Personalizing systemic therapy for prostate cancer remains challenging because tumors can evolve under treatment pressure, driving resistance and early relapse. Continuous high-dose regimens may initially... Read more

New Liquid Biopsy Workflow Maximizes Tumor Signals from Limited Blood Samples

Liquid biopsy seeks to detect tumor-derived signals from small blood samples, but circulating cell-free DNA is scarce and heterogeneous, limiting sensitivity. Combining complementary signals such as methylation,... Read more
