Reagent Strip Values Added to Urine Dipstick Controls

Several newly added urine reagent-strip values have been included in urine dipstick controls expanding the utility of a urinalysis control line.

Quantimetrix Corporation ((Redondo Beach, CA, USA) added the urine analysis reagent strip values to its Dipper, Dropper, Dropper Plus, and Dip&Spin inserts. More...
Values for Accutest, Accustrip, Acon Mission, Henry Schein Urispec, Macherey Nagel Medi-Test, and McKesson Medi-Lab Performance have been added to expand the utility of the urinalysis control line.

Quantimetrix provides a comparative quality control program called Quantrol. Free monthly reports are provided for participants allowing each lab to monitor test performance and trend analysis. The company's catalog features urinalysis, general and specialty chemistry controls, whole blood, electrophoresis systems, diagnostic assays, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) products.
