Biotech and other life science researchers can increase their productivity by selecting one or more new laboratory balances from an innovative new line.

Sartorius (Goettingen, Germany) has recently begun marketing a new line of user-friendly, highly accurate standard laboratory balances. More...
These "Quintix" balances are available in a choice of 12 models with weighing capacities ranging from 120 to 5,100 grams and readabilities extending from 0.1 milligram to one gram.

In addition to the proven accuracy of a Sartorius balance, the Quintix line incorporates several innovations. Its operating design based on self-explanatory icons guides users through the balances' many possible weighing applications. These applications include weighing in percent; weighing under unstable conditions and weighing components; counting, mixing, check weighing; peak hold to determine the highest measurement in a series; density determination; statistics and conversion. The Quintix touch screen allows precise selection of commands even when the user is wearing gloves.

The "isoCAL" combined calibration and adjustment function on the Quintix balances alerts the user whenever a defined time or temperature limit has been exceeded and adjusts the balance automatically using an internal weight. Moreover, the "Cal Audit Trail" function documents every calibration and adjustment operation for 100% traceability in quality assurance.

The Quintix balance transfers data directly over a built-in USB port to any computer in the laboratory, without requiring additional software. As a result, weighing data can be easily and rapidly read into Excel or any other program for further processing.
