Posted on 11 Oct 2010
A preselected library of highly purified low molecular weight compounds is now available to drug developers in both 96-well and 384-well formats.

The Maybridge (Tintagel, United Kingdom) "HitFinder” screening compound collection is a unique preplated collection of 14,400 drug-like screening compounds. More...
The original HitFinder presentation of 1-µmol dry films in a 96 shallow well plate format has now been augmented by 0.25-µmol dry films supplied in 384 well microplates. Both formats are immediately available as "off-the-shelf” products.

All HitFinder compounds have been analyzed as having a purity of at least 90%, with the majority having a purity of more than 95%. Physicochemical data for the compounds are available in a variety of electronic formats.

Maybridge is a subdivision of Thermo Fisher Scientific (Milford, MA, USA), a major supplier of biotechnology and life sciences products.
