Posted on 10 Mar 2010
A new pipetting aid unites all essential characteristics for productive work with serologic pipettes: accuracy, speed, and user comfort.

The new Integra Biosciences (Hudson, NH, USA) Pipetboy pro pipetting aid is designed for comfortable and error-free pipetting. More...
A new integral white light-emitting diode (LED) light in the Pipetboy pro provides optimal illumination of the area around the pipette, ensuring accurate pipetting, and preventing eyestrain even when dispensing liquids out of an opaque centrifuge tube or dark container.

The aid enables the user to quickly, accurately, and effectively dose liquids just by applying variable finger pressure on the pipettor trigger buttons, changing between drop by drop dispensing or fast motorized pipetting at a adjustable speed of up to 10 mL/s. Weighing just 190 g and ergonomically designed to comfortably fit in the user's hand, the device makes even prolonged pipetting effortless.

Integra is a provider of laboratory tools for liquid handling, media preparation, sterilization, and cell cultivation.
