System for Advanced Parallel Cellular Analysis

By Biotechdaily staff writers
Posted on 09 Oct 2003
A new open technology platform enables researchers to run multiple cell types and markers simultaneously in a single assay well.

By facilitating parallel screening of multiple cell types and parameters with a diversity of assays, researchers can acquire highly sought-after information in less time than otherwise possible. Cells are grown on CellCards, imaged, and analyzed using the complete turnkey solution developed by Vitra Bioscience (Mountain View, CA, USA).

"By providing researchers with a tool to analyze multiple cell types simultaneously, uniquely inclusive and robust information is obtained earlier and with considerably less effort,” noted Andrew Whiteley, president and CEO of Vitra Bioscience. "This will unequivocally expedite the process of identifying promising clinical compounds.”
