Streck Inc. More...
(La Vista, NE. USA), a supplier of blood collection tubes that standardize methods for sample collection, stabilization and transportation, showcased three new antibiotic resistance detection kits and the new RNA Complete BCT at the 2019 AACC Clinical Lab Expo.

Streck develops and manufactures laboratory products, specializing in biotechnology, clinical controls, hematology, immunology, flow cytometry, chemistry, urinalysis and quality control devices. Streck’s new ARM-D Kits detect the most clinically important current and emerging antimicrobial resistance threats. The kits ‒ now for MCR, expanded OXA, and TEM/SHV/GES ‒ rapidly screen more than 1,000 resistance gene variants. Streck’s ARM-D Kits include all five CRE gene families: KPC, OXA, NDM, IMP, and VIM. Colistin resistance target genes include MCR-1, MCR-2, MCR-3, MCR-4, and MCR-5. Streck’s ARM-D Kits are comprehensive, including targets for ampCs, as well as ESBLs.

Streck’s RNA Complete BCT is a direct draw whole blood collection tube that stabilizes the draw time concentration of exosomes and cell-free RNA. RNA Complete BCT prevents the release of exosomes from red and white blood cells and maintains cell-free RNA concentration for up to seven days at room temperature, allowing convenient sample collection, transport and storage.
