New Mechanical Pipette Is Robust and Lightweight

By LabMedica International staff writers
Posted on 06 Dec 2011
An extremely lightweight mechanical pipette was designed to fit naturally in the hand of the user.
An improved design reduces tension and drastically lowers pipetting forces. More...
The new shape of the pipette ensures a perfect fit while the new hook reduces tensions while holding it. An adjustable tip ejector button has also been implemented to adapt to both right- and left-handed users. Its shape provides intuitive and comfortable handling of the pipette.

Pipetman L is an adjustable volume pipette that features a Gilson (Middleton, WI, USA) USA patented, volume-locking system. The operating rod is fully disconnected from the counter assembly during pipetting phases so once locked into place the volume will not be accidentally changed. This GLP feature, among other features, meets the current needs of intensive pipette users who desire accuracy and precision without sacrificing comfort. It is the latest innovation of Gilson based on ergonomics, comfort, and traceability research.

Gilson, Inc. provides high quality, dependable solutions for today's demanding liquid chromatography, solid phase extraction, liquid handling, and gel permeation chromatography clean-up requirements.
