Using only ultrapure grade polymer means that each black plate has near-zero leachates, ensuring long-term sample integrity. Porvair black plates are supplied RNase/Dnase-free so they can be used with even the most sensitive biologic samples. Also available from Porvair Sciences is the AbsorbMax sealing films, which are 200-µm thick black vinyl adhesive sealing films for use with 96-well black microplates. The light-blocking and absorbing properties of AbsorbMax sealing films make them suitable, in combination with Porvair black 96-well plates, for protecting light-sensitive assays or samples during storage.
