Social Network for Diagnostics Launched

By LabMedica International staff writers
Posted on 01 Mar 2015
A social network is specifically designed for business interaction in field of diagnostics has been started.

DiaDome (Germany) is a newly developed social network designed specifically for the field of diagnostics. More...
It relies on user generated content; it eliminates individual personal interests and replaces them with those of the organization. DiaDome combines the ease of online communications of a social network with all features necessary for a professional business interaction. Segmentation into three equal parts, clinical, food & feed and veterinary, creates an expert environment for its members.

The diagnostics sector has distinct requirements. Facebook, for example, is too broad and small and medium-sized diagnostic organizations get easily overlooked in a crowded environment. On the other hand, LinkedIn is very good for individual careers. Recruiting is one of the major advantages for individuals but again, for diagnostic companies and organizations features are limited and the noise of information can be overwhelming.

A major difference is that DiaDome is based only on organizational profiles. Thus, individual interests get excluded and the interests of organizations as a whole are in focus. There is no recruiting on DiaDome and personal careers are not in focus. Organizations present themselves with their profile, offer their products and services and connect with their business partners, suppliers and customers. Additionally, organizations can create as many user accounts as needed for their profile for optimal use of DiaDome. Also, DiaDome is a special interest network for the field of diagnostics only. This way, an expert environment is created.

DiaDome, a website based in Germany, is currently live. Organizations are already able to register and use DiaDome to full extent. The website is intuitively laid out, and safe and secure. The basic membership is free and all new members enjoy a 3-month free trial period to use DiaDome with all its features.
