Thermo Fisher Scientific Showcases End-to-End Diagnostic and Laboratory Solutions at ADLM 2026

Thermo Fisher Scientific (Waltham, MA, USA) is showcasing a broad range of diagnostic and laboratory technologies at ADLM 2026, held July 26–30 in Anaheim, California. More...

At booth 3501, visitors can explore workflow automation, quality management tools, clinical assays, and laboratory services that support testing from early development through routine diagnostic use.

The company’s specialty diagnostics showcase spans multiple myeloma, oncology, autoimmune disease, critical care, maternal health, transplant medicine, and molecular diagnostics. Thermo Fisher is highlighting how integrated instruments, assays, software, and services can help laboratories improve testing accuracy, accelerate clinical decision-making, and manage increasingly complex workflows.

Among the featured systems is the FDA-cleared EXENT Solution, a fully integrated and automated mass spectrometry platform designed to aid in diagnosing multiple myeloma and related disorders. By combining sensitive detection with automated workflows, the system is intended to help clinical laboratories provide accurate results while reducing the uncertainty and subjectivity associated with conventional testing pathways.

In oncology, Thermo Fisher is presenting the Oncomine Dx Express Test on the Ion Torrent Genexus Dx Integrated Sequencer. The test received FDA approval in 2025 as a companion diagnostic for sunvozertinib in non-small cell lung cancer and for tumor profiling of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded samples. The combined solution can generate next-generation sequencing results in as little as 24 hours, depending on the number of samples and type of run.

The company is also showcasing the EliA CTD 13 Screen, which received FDA 510(k) clearance in June 2026. Available on the Phadia 250 instrument, the assay is designed to aid in diagnosing systemic autoimmune connective tissue diseases, including systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjögren’s syndrome, systemic sclerosis, polymyositis, dermatomyositis, and mixed connective tissue disease when interpreted alongside other clinical and laboratory findings.

Thermo Fisher’s critical care and maternal health display includes the B·R·A·H·M·S biomarker testing portfolio, anchored by the B·R·A·H·M·S KRYPTOR analyzers. Featured applications include procalcitonin testing to support antibiotic stewardship in sepsis management and the PreClara Ratio, an FDA-cleared biomarker test for assessing the risk of preeclampsia. The company is additionally presenting transplant diagnostic solutions covering HLA typing and post-transplant monitoring.

Other technologies on display include the Thermo Scientific TSQ Certis Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer for clinical research workflows such as immunosuppressant drug monitoring, toxicology, and bioanalysis. Thermo Fisher is also presenting the Applied Biosystems QuantStudio Dx Real-Time PCR System for molecular diagnostic workflows and the B·R·A·H·M·S Fast Screen PLUS digital platform, which integrates prenatal biomarkers, instrumentation, and risk-assessment algorithms to support standardized interpretation and reporting.

In quality management, the company is featuring LabLink360 software and Thermo Scientific MAS Max quality controls. LabLink360 uses Sigma-metric analysis and global benchmarking to help laboratories assess analytical performance and optimize quality-control parameters, while MAS Max controls support streamlined and automated workflows intended to reduce manual workload without compromising result quality.

Beyond its clinical diagnostic products, Thermo Fisher is highlighting its role as an end-to-end partner for in vitro diagnostic companies. Its Diagnostic Services business provides contract manufacturing, regulatory compliance support, and co-development capabilities across major testing disciplines, supported by the company’s global manufacturing infrastructure and technical expertise.

Thermo Fisher experts are also participating in several sessions at booth 3501 covering automated oral-fluid drug testing, mass spectrometry strategies for pathogen detection, immunoglobulin and free light-chain testing workflows, and the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge student program.
