Zybio Exhibits Range of Hematology, Immunoassay and Mass Spectrometry Systems

Zybio is showcasing laboratory diagnostic technologies spanning hematology, immunoassays, microbiology, clinical mass spectrometry, chemistry, and coagulation at ADLM 2026. More...

At booth 2281, the company is highlighting the EXZ 8000 Series, EXI 1820, EXS 2600, and the newly introduced LC-EXQ 3600 Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry System.

The LC-EXQ 3600 is making its debut at the event as a clinical triple quadrupole mass spectrometry platform. Its 180-degree curved collision cell uses push-pull ion acceleration to reduce noise and support faster multiple reaction monitoring switching. The system also incorporates ion-transmission noise filtering to improve contamination resistance, hybrid-field optimized transfer for increased ion transmission, and automated software intended to simplify operation.

For clinical microbiology, Zybio is presenting the EXS 2600 MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry system. The platform combines a peptide mass fingerprinting database based on measured spectra with a genome-based predictive database, expanding identification coverage to more than 14,000 species. Cross-validation between the two databases is intended to increase confidence in microorganism identification.

The EXS 2600 can analyze 96 target spots in approximately seven minutes and displays spectra, identification scores, results, colony images, and morphological reference images through a single software interface. Its oil-free turbomolecular pump is designed to reduce maintenance requirements, while high-ion-propulsion technology supports analytical sensitivity and resolution.

Zybio’s immunoassay exhibit includes the EXI 1820 fully automated chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The system provides a 50-sample loading capacity and a dedicated STAT position that can aspirate emergency samples within 30 seconds. Its refrigerated reagent compartment supports continuous storage, while optimized magnetic separation and online vortex mixing are designed to improve analytical precision and maintain a uniform suspension of magnetic particles.

In hematology, the EXZ 8000 Series combines six-part differential blood-cell analysis with CRP and serum amyloid A testing. The platform uses nucleic acid fluorescence technology and an optical platelet-counting method intended to reduce interference from small red blood cells and cellular debris. Its Panoramic Mode enhances analysis of samples with low white blood cell or platelet counts, while automated microvolume sampling enables CBC, CRP, and SAA results to be generated from a single tube.

The company is also presenting scientific findings covering several areas of laboratory medicine. Posters report performance data for Zybio’s HbA1c assay compared with HPLC, a clinical chemistry lipid panel compared with established systems, and APTT, PT, and TT testing performed on the EXT 9800 tri-modal coagulation platform. According to the company, the studies demonstrate high correlation and diagnostic concordance with comparator methods.
