Hettich North America is showcasing a range of centrifugation technologies for clinical laboratory workflows at the ADLM 2026 Clinical Lab Expo. More...

Visitors to booth 2840 can explore compact, benchtop, specialty, and automation-compatible systems designed to accommodate varying sample volumes and testing applications.

The company’s small centrifuge portfolio combines compact footprints with rapid separation for low-volume and time-sensitive testing. Featured options include the EBA Series for blood bank, hematology, STAT, core laboratory, and physician-office applications, as well as the HAEMATOKRIT 200 for rapid hematocrit determination.

Hettich is also presenting general-purpose benchtop systems that accommodate a broad range of tubes, plates, rotors, and accessories. These medium- to high-capacity centrifuges are designed to help laboratories meet varying throughput requirements without relying on multiple application-specific instruments.

For cytology workflows, the Hettich Cyto-System allows laboratories to use a 12-place cytology clip rotor with the ROTOFIX 32 A or UNIVERSAL 320 benchtop centrifuge. The rotor includes a certified biocontainment lid and supports several funnel formats, enabling laboratories to process common tubes, microplates, and cytology preparations on the same platform.

The exhibit additionally includes automation-friendly centrifuges intended for integration into robotic laboratory workflows. Hettich’s automated portfolio spans compact and higher-capacity models, including the MIKRO 220 ROBOTIC, SBS 300 ROBOTIC, ROTINA 380 ROBOTIC, and ROTANTA 460 ROBOTIC.

Through its ADLM 2026 showcase, Hettich is demonstrating how laboratories can select and combine centrifuges, rotors, and accessories to improve turnaround times, expand testing flexibility, and streamline routine sample-processing workflows.

New Liquid Biopsy Workflow Maximizes Tumor Signals from Limited Blood Samples

Liquid biopsy seeks to detect tumor-derived signals from small blood samples, but circulating cell-free DNA is scarce and heterogeneous, limiting sensitivity. Combining complementary signals such as methylation,... Read more
