Fapon Presents AI-Engineered Enzymes and Alzheimer’s Diagnostic Solutions

By LabMedica International staff writers
Posted on 29 Jul 2026

Fapon is participating in the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (ADLM) 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo, taking place July 26–30 in Anaheim, California. More...

At booth 3161, the company is presenting AI-engineered enzymes for molecular diagnostics, blood-based Alzheimer’s disease testing materials, immunoassay analyzers, and other components designed to support in vitro diagnostic development.

Among the featured innovations are ProPrime II and MeloScript III, two AI-engineered enzymes developed for PCR and quantitative PCR workflows. The enzymes are designed to improve testing sensitivity, speed, and robustness and are supported by proprietary intellectual property and freedom to operate. Fapon also offers custom development services for diagnostic manufacturers seeking enzymes tailored to specific assay requirements.

The company is additionally showcasing a suite of raw materials and bulk reagents covering widely used biomarkers for blood-based Alzheimer’s disease testing. Manufactured under an ISO 13485-certified quality system, the portfolio is intended to help in vitro diagnostic manufacturers accelerate the development of assays for earlier and more accessible Alzheimer’s disease assessment.

Fapon’s instrument display includes the Shine i-Series chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzers, with the Shine i1000 and Shine i3000 available for live demonstrations. The open-system series accommodates different laboratory throughput requirements and supports more than 70 assays developed by the company.

Visitors can also explore raw materials and bulk reagents for a range of immunoassay applications. These include antibodies for small-molecule sandwich assays targeting vitamin D, estradiol, and thyroxine; mouse-free IgG blockers for manufacturers seeking animal-origin-free components; and recombinant controls designed to improve consistency between production lots.

Together, the featured products demonstrate Fapon’s portfolio across diagnostic raw materials, reagent services, and laboratory instruments. The company is positioning these offerings as integrated resources that can help manufacturers simplify assay development, strengthen diagnostic performance, and move products from initial development toward clinical use.

Fapon is also using its ADLM 2026 participation to highlight its growing presence in North America. Under its “In America, For America” approach, the company operates U.S.-based research, development, and production facilities intended to provide local customers with faster technical support and greater supply-chain resilience. Its quality management framework includes ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications.
