Ozelle Presents AI-Powered O-Cyte 1 Hematology Analyzer

At booth 2517, the company is presenting O-Cyte 1, its latest automated hematology analyzer, in its global debut alongside its broader clinical hematology portfolio.

O-Cyte 1 is designed to integrate AI-based cell morphology analysis into routine hematology workflows. The system combines Ozelle’s AI × CBM, or Complete Blood Morphology, technology with automated analysis to convert cell images into structured morphological information that can support consistent interpretation.

Cell morphology can provide valuable diagnostic information, but conventional microscopic examination depends heavily on specialist expertise and may be difficult to incorporate into high-throughput laboratory operations. Image-based systems have expanded the information available to laboratories, although their integration into routine workflows can remain challenging. O-Cyte 1 is intended to address these limitations by combining morphology intelligence, scalable throughput, and automated processing in a compact platform.

The analyzer processes up to 60 tests per hour as a standalone unit. Its modular architecture also supports the connection of multiple units, increasing throughput to as many as 360 tests per hour for laboratories with higher testing volumes.

O-Cyte 1 incorporates a compact footprint, a minimal-maintenance workflow, and a service-oriented design intended to reduce operational complexity. By supplementing traditional numerical blood-cell parameters with image-based morphological evidence, the platform is designed to provide laboratories with additional information for hematology assessment.

At ADLM 2026, Ozelle is demonstrating how the system can be adapted to different clinical laboratory settings and testing volumes. The company is positioning the analyzer for healthcare providers and laboratory operators seeking automated, scalable morphology analysis for everyday hematology workflows across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, India, and other markets.
