Aiforia Technologies Plc (Helsinki, Finland) has entered into a commercial agreement with PathAI (Boston, MA, USA), a member of the Roche Group and developer of the AISight Dx Image Management System. More...

Under the collaboration, Aiforia’s AI solutions will be made available to laboratories through the AISight Marketplace, combining Aiforia’s deep learning technology with PathAI’s established customer base and presence in the United States.

The collaboration is intended to integrate Aiforia’s AI solutions directly into case review workflows within AISight Dx. PathAI’s platform supports applications including biomarker quantification, tissue classification, and diagnostic decision support, while AISight Link provides connectivity with laboratory and hospital information technology systems. Together, these capabilities create an integrated environment for accessing AI tools alongside contracting, billing, and support through PathAI.

The agreement also expands the potential reach of Aiforia’s CE-IVD marked AI solutions for digital pathology. AISight Dx is CE-IVD marked for primary diagnosis in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Through the collaboration, the companies aim to make Aiforia’s AI models available to a broader range of laboratories across Europe and the United States.

“This agreement with PathAI is an important step in expanding access to Aiforia's AI solutions. By making our models available through AISight Dx, we can reach laboratories and pathologists who are already working within PathAI's platform and strengthen our presence especially in the U.S. market,” said Jukka Tapaninen, CEO of Aiforia.

"Our goal with AISight Dx is to give pathologists everything they need in one place. With Aiforia's AI solutions embedded directly into case review workflows, alongside our expanding algorithm catalog and seamless connectivity to lab and hospital IT systems through AISight Link, laboratories get a single, curated ecosystem spanning biomarker quantification, tissue classification, and diagnostic decision support, all contracted, billed, and supported through PathAI," said Nick Brown, Chief Growth Officer, PathAI.
