现场阻止出血的压力钳

iTClamp出血控制系统的设计宗旨是在到达医院前的创伤护理环境下挽救生命,重点是遏制创伤致死的首要原因——大出血,其方式是在几秒内止住严重出血。ITClamp封住伤口,在压力作用下造成临时血池,形成稳定的血凝块,减少进一步的失血,直到伤口可以得到手术修补。这只5厘米长的器械像一只发夹,可在几秒内安好,基本上任何人稍加培训就会使用。

这种无菌的塑料血管钳钳嘴上有曲形针;在创伤场合,急救人员把血管钳夹在伤口上。曲形针和ITClamp的形状把伤口收拢进钳内,并用均匀的压力固定住,使下面的血液在伤口周围形成血凝块,协助止血,直到伤员接受进一步的治疗;伤口越大,需要的血管钳越多。iTClamp出血控制系统是iTraumaCare公司(San Antonio, TX, USA; www.innovativetraumacare.com)的产品,已获得欧盟的CE标志认证。

iTraumaCare公司CEO暨iTClamp发明人Dennis Filips大夫在美国军队当过20年创伤外科医生,他说:“军医恶劣的工作条件给我很大触动,我发现他们所用的工具甚至不适合处理非常简单的问题,如出血。如果能把伤员送到医院,他们将有98%的存活机会。一大空档是从受伤现场到医院所需的时间。”
