Tianlong Science and Technology (Shaanxi, China), an innovative high-tech company that specializes in molecular diagnostic products, has launched two new products, the GeneFlex Nucleic Acid Extractor and the Gentier mini+ Real-time PCR System, globally. More...

These products, with their compact design and portability, offer reliable and efficient tools for nucleic acid extraction and real-time PCR applications for researchers and clinicians.

The GeneFlex Nucleic Acid Extractor, which has won the German Red Dot Design Award 2021, is based on Tianlong's proprietary patented technology and is designed to offer flexible throughput for researchers and clinicians. It has a maximum processing volume of 1700μL and a sample processing volume of 200μL -500μL, allowing for a higher yield of nucleic acid. Additionally, it features precise temperature control with a temperature range of 30°C-120°C, a heating speed of 4°±0.2°C/s, temperature accuracy of ±1°C, and temperature uniformity of ≤1.0°C. These features ensure reproducible results with high accuracy.

The Gentier mini+ Real-time PCR System from Tianlong is a small and portable device designed to detect and prevent animal diseases, infectious diseases, food safety, and for scientific research applications. Its lightweight and compact design make it suitable for use in small laboratories, mobile laboratories, and on-site testing. Equipped with multiple fluorescent channels and a rapid heating and cooling rate, the device significantly reduces experiment duration. The advanced features and portability of the Gentier mini+ Real-time PCR System resolves the issue of limited space and fragmented samples faced by laboratories, ensuring easy-to-use, highly accurate and efficient PCR testing.

Tianlong has introduced the GeneFlex Nucleic Acid Extractor and Gentier mini+ Real-time PCR System to offer comprehensive PCR lab solutions to researchers and clinical professionals worldwide. These instruments are compact, portable, and tailored for use in mobile and small laboratories or on-site testing requirements. With the support of Tianlong's extraction and PCR reagents, the GeneFlex extraction instrument, and the Gentier mini+ PCR instrument can be used for a range of detection applications, such as identifying genetic, respiratory, and blood diseases.

“We know that throughput waste and lack of space are two common concerns for many laboratories and clinical operators so Tianlong has positioned ourselves well for the imminent increased demand for flexible throughput,” said Li Ming, CEO of Tianlong. “Accordingly, we have developed GeneFlex16, which can flexibly form 16 x n different throughputs, which meets requirements for the simultaneous extraction of multiple projects without mutual interference, thereby significantly improving extraction efficiency.”

"Gentier mini+ has multiple fluorescent channels, which are compatible with more reagents, especially multi-target reagents, and has a fast heating and cooling rate, which shortens experiment times. A highlight is the adoption of a maintenance-free LED light source for fluorescence scanning," added Li Zheng, Instrument R&D Director of Tianlong.
