BioSquare Conference to Be Held in Basel

BioSquare 2004 will be held March 10-12, 2004, at the Convention Center in Basel, Switzerland. More...
The event is hosted by the bioindustry organizations of Europe, Japan, and the United States. According to the event organizers, most of the world's leading life sciences companies plan to attend. In all, more than 1,000 visitors are expected.

Conference topics include business models for financing biotech startups in Europe, research in zero gravity with the European Space Agency, and "Tricks of the Trade” from trendsetters. Also on the agenda are a startup networking event, panel discussions, and a special workshop targeted at all early stage startups as well as business developers from big pharmaceutical companies. This workshop will focus on pragmatic solutions and give early-stage companies the opportunity to meet and talk to business developers about best practice in collaboration for competitive innovation.
