Tianlong Introduces Coxsackie A6/A10 Nucleic Acid Detection Kit

Posted on 02 Aug 2022

Hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) is an infectious disease caused by enteroviruses and is characterized by fever and vesicular eruptions on the hands feet and mouth. More...

There are more than 20 kinds of enteroviruses that cause HFMD. Among them, the enterovirus 71 and Coxsackie A 16 are the most common pathogens. However, in recent years, non-EV71 and non-CA16 enteroviruses have also become important HFMD causing pathogens, among which the Coxsackievirus group A Type 6 (CA) and Coxsackievirus Group A Type 10 (CA10) are important pathogens. Now, a newly-launched nucleic acid detection kit can assist in the diagnosis and treatment of Coxsackie A6/A10 virus infection.

Tianlong Science and Technology (Shaanxi, China) has introduced the Coxsackie A6/A10 Nucleic Acid Detection Kit for the qualitative detection of Coxsackie A6/A10 Virus nucleic acid. The kit enables the detection and differentiation of Coxsackie A6/A10, the important HFMD causing pathogen, using the Real Time Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (Real-time RT-PCR) method. Its innovative 3-in-1 tube PCR with reaction solution, primers and PCR enzymes in one tube, minimizes the time required for sample addition and enables PCR detection within 40 minutes. The Coxsackie A6/A10 Nucleic Acid Detection Kit is CE marked, making it accessible to more countries.
