Vircell Launches New Website for Molecular Control Products

By LabMedica International staff writers
Posted on 25 Aug 2025

Vircell, a Spanish company specializing in human infectious diseases, has launched a new website for its AMPLIRUN® molecular control products. More...

The site is designed to offer laboratories and professionals faster, more intuitive and comprehensive access to all information and resources on its molecular controls.

In addition to offering the possibility of convenient online shopping in most parts of the world, this website provides direct access to sequencing data, technical notes, certificates and scientific documentation. It also includes educational content on molecular laboratory accreditation, user guides and specialized bibliography.

A Quality Control Module is also being incorporated into the website. This module is designed to monitor the performance of controls over time and evaluate the efficiency of molecular tests. It will allow anonymous comparison with the results of other laboratories around the world that are using the same products.

For laboratories with specific needs, the platform enables the request of customized molecular controls. This advancement builds on Vircell’s more than 30 years of experience collaborating with companies and laboratories to provide various types of customized solutions.
