Tianlong Science and Technology (Shaanxi, China), an innovative high-tech company specializing in molecular diagnostic products, has announced that its GeneMix Pro Automated Sample Processing System has won the IDEA American Idea Industrial Design Award 2023, one of the globally recognized top four industrial design awards. The American IDEA Industrial Design Award, along with the German Red Dot Award, German IF Design Award, and Japan GMARK Award, is considered among the world's top four design awards. The American Idea Industrial Design Award, known for celebrating excellence in industrial design, is one of the oldest and most prestigious design recognitions.

The GeneMix Pro Automatic Sample Processing System from Tianlong, the recipient of this year’s IDEA American Idea Industrial Design Award, is engineered to automate laboratory workflow and ensure sample integrity through a hands-free method for quick and convenient capping and decapping of tubes. The GeneMix Pro is capable of processing 96 samples within 20 minutes, freeing professionals from laborious mechanical tasks. Its workflow includes automated uncapping/recapping of sample tubes, sample pipetting and dispensing, Proteinase K/internal reference reagent loading, and automatic mixing of sample tubes. The GeneMix Pro enhances laboratory workflow automation and bolsters efficiency and safety for medical professionals.
