The GeneMix Pro Automatic Sample Processing System from Tianlong, the recipient of this year’s IDEA American Idea Industrial Design Award, is engineered to automate laboratory workflow and ensure sample integrity through a hands-free method for quick and convenient capping and decapping of tubes. The GeneMix Pro is capable of processing 96 samples within 20 minutes, freeing professionals from laborious mechanical tasks. Its workflow includes automated uncapping/recapping of sample tubes, sample pipetting and dispensing, Proteinase K/internal reference reagent loading, and automatic mixing of sample tubes.
