DYNEX Technologies (Chantilly, VA, USA) has announced the commercial launch of the DS2 Elite automated ELISA system, which builds on the proven legacy of the DS2 system. The DS2 Elite supports laboratories as they move toward integrated operations and broader automation strategies. As laboratories seek to standardize processes, reduce manual touchpoints, and improve consistency, the DS2 Elite serves as a critical automation component – its compact footprint, flexible assay configuration, and automated sample processing allow users to integrate high-quality ELISA automation without sacrificing space or scalability.

Assay timing optimization, automated pre-wash steps, and improved dilution and mixing capabilities help ensure peak performance while minimizing hands-on time. The DS2 Elite introduces a comprehensive set of software and workflow enhancements that improve productivity, data integrity, and operational confidence for both new users and existing DYNEX customers. With Microsoft Windows 11 compatibility, stand-alone Co-Connect LIS interface software, and advanced security features, the system is engineered to meet the evolving demands of regulated clinical, reference, research, and biopharma laboratories.

Additionally, the platform includes a refreshed DYNEX-branded user interface and enhanced reporting tools that simplify daily operation and training. New user profiles and audit trail capabilities strengthen traceability and support regulatory compliance. Improved plate results reporting, increased photometric range, and Levey-Jennings quality control improvements provide greater confidence in data review and decision-making.

For existing DS2 customers, the DS2 Elite offers a seamless upgrade path with familiar workflows, expanded functionality, and reduced labor through automation improvements. For laboratories new to DYNEX, the system delivers an accessible entry point into automated ELISA testing with enterprise-level features typically reserved for higher-volume platforms.
