Posted on 04 Feb 2025

Mindray (Shenzhen, China) is exhibiting its comprehensive range of IVD total solutions designed for laboratories of all sizes. Visitors to the Mindray booth can discover its exciting new innovations, including the CAL 9000 All-in-One Hematology Solution, the M980 Chemistry and Immunoassay Integrated Solution, and the FA-N60 Automated Blood Culture System, all aimed at enhancing laboratory efficiency.

The CAL 9000 is Mindray’s latest generation of advanced hematology cellular analysis line. It delivers CBC, ESR, and HbA1c results from a single EDTA tube using the "All-in-One" solution. Additionally, it features fully automated sample processing, and accurate disease-specific alarms which enable intelligent re-examination and digital morphology analysis. This high-performance line enhances diagnostic accuracy, reduces manual workload, and accelerates clinical decision-making for laboratories. The M980 is a powerful and efficient chemistry and immunoassay integrated solution with a compact footprint of just 2.6 m². Featuring innovative technologies such as the PDR platform, auto de-capping, ultrasonic probe washing, and FS sampling, it efficiently delivers reliable reports for patient care.

The FA-N60 is a next-generation scalable blood culture system that features real-time blood volume monitoring, an intelligent satellite information transmission system, and newly designed culture bottles. It enables rapid diagnosis of bloodstream infections with an optimized workflow. The fully automatic AF-300 ID/AST system offers a range of combinations using Mindray combo ID/AST cards. It can identify over 500 bacterial species with high sensitivity and employs direct minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) to detect emerging resistant pathogens, following CLSI and EUCAST guidelines. This ensures timely and accurate results for clinical microbiology testing. The BriCyte MX Flow Cytometer is optimized for configuration and performance, featuring an optical system with up to 3 lasers and 14 colors. It boasts significant improvements in key performance metrics, including multi-mode fluorescence compensation, expanded automatic algorithms, and innovative automated review, making flow cytometry analyses more standardized and efficient.
