Posted on 31 May 2022

Snibe (Shenzhen, China) has launched the latest Biossays E6 electrolyte analyzer, ushering in a new era of fully automatic iCa2+ analysis. More...

Biossays E6 is a small-size electrolyte analyzer (space occupied <0.23 m2) with a high throughput of 300 tests per hour (60 samples per hour) and five electrodes as per request in any combination: iCa2+, Na+, K+, Cl-, pH. Biossays E6 adopts the automatic puncture sampling method for anaerobic measurement to ensure the stability of ionized calcium levels and the accuracy of measurement. Ionized calcium is physiologically active calcium that can reflect the metabolic state of calcium and can better reflect the patient’s true calcium level.

Samples can be loaded continuously, and 30 samples can be loaded in a single operation. Different negative pressure sampling algorithms ensure accurate and sufficient vacuum sampling. Biossays E6 supports STAT mode and requires 90ul sample of serum, whole blood, plasma or urine. It also offers hedging type full pipettor cleaning to avoid cross-contamination and is connectable to the lab’s Total Laboratory Automation System. Its fully automatic sample loading, puncture sampling, calibration, detection and cleaning improves efficiency and ensures hands-free operation. Its user-friendly design and 12-inch touch screen make it easier to operate the Biossays E6 electrolyte analyzer and visualize data intuitively.
