A fully automated, random access analyzer for immunoassays and clinical chemistry will be showcased at the AACC (American Association for Clinical Chemistry) Clinical Lab Expo in Houston (TX, USA), from July 30-August 1, 2013.

The Hybrid XL Analyzer, which is being marketed by DRG International (Springfield, NJ, USA), was developed in association with BIT Analytical Instruments GmbH (Schwalbach, Germany) and is based on the BITSMARTSOLUTION instrument platform.

The instrument allows the simultaneous measurement of immunoassays and clinical chemistry parameters including turbidimetric tests in one work routine. More...
It was designed for service in small and medium-sized labs, and is also suitable for high-workload laboratories performing special routine and niche parameters automatically.

The analyzer is capable of performing 40 different tests on one sample or just one or two tests on as many as 20 samples. Furthermore, the user can combine individual diagnostic panels from a rich menu of immunoassays and clinical chemistry analyses.

The DRG Hybrid XL Analyzer will be displayed in the “Evolution of the Revolution” exhibit, which highlights diagnostic system design at its best.
