First Saliva Diagnostic Test for Endometriosis Delivers Reliable Results Within Days

The Ziwig Endotest is the first-ever application of salivary microRNA1-6 in gynecology. This test requires only a simple saliva sample, with the diagnosis performed in the laboratory. It is based on high-throughput sequencing of the microRNA found in saliva, combined with artificial intelligence (AI) to process the large volumes of data generated. Using the Ziwig Endotest, a diagnosis can be made in just a few days with exceptional accuracy (97.4% sensitivity, 93.7% specificity).
